The Beauty of the Half-Court Shot Promotion...

Basketball fans across the nation seem to be fascinated with the half-court shot... Here are some great clips of teams (and their contestants) executing half-court shots to perfection:

The Milwaukee Bucks Dangle a Chevy Malibu!

The L.A. Clippers have contestants shoot backwards for a chance to win a Dodge Charger...

Here, the Clippers let a member of the Dance Team shoot a demonstration shot... who would have ever thought that she would make it!

The Portland Trailblazers host back-to-back half court shots for round-trip tickets anywhere that Southwest Airlines flies!

The Portland Trailblazers offer a half-court shot for the chance to win a free Toyota Tundra... The Trailblazers do an excellent job setting up the promotion with a nice lead-in and exchange between Brandon Roy and the on-court emcee...

State Farm Insurance offers one (1) UNC student the chance to win $13,000 on ESPN College Gameday (although he only receives $3,000 of it; the remaining $10,000 goes to the General Scholarship Fund... open your wallet State Farm!)

The Clippers seem to be one of the best at setting up the Half-Court Shot promotion... Here, they give away a Dodge Nitro to a loyal season ticket holder...

The Chicago Bulls' Benny the Bull makes a behind-the-back half-court shot during a timeout (using a miniature ball but nonetheless, very impressive...)
