Taco Bell Leads the Pack with MLB Promotions!
Taco Bell has done a tremendous job creating promotions around Major League Baseball's jewel events (All-Star Game, World Series, etc.). Year after year, the QSR chain has implemented innovative promotions that are often tied to in-game/event occurences. During the 2007 World Series, Taco Bell offered a "Steal A Base, Steal A Taco" promotion, rewarding all consumers with a free taco if a player on either team during the World Series stole a base. Jacoby Ellsbury's stolen base during Game 2 enabled consumers to cash in.

The contestant couldn't help but feel some added pressure with Nolan Ryan standing next to him. Nonetheless, the promotion provided Taco Bell with great visibility and drove awareness of their partnership with Major League Baseball.
