    Reebok Uses an Athlete-Operated Mechanical Bull to Generate Buzz at the Super Bowl

    Reebok leveraged its designation as the NFL's Official Apparel Supplier at Super Bowl XLV with an outstanding 50'x100' hospitality space designed to host media members, VIP's, clients, partners, and friends of the brand. Reebok teamed up with Synergy Events to create the interactive area and host a star-studded media event on the Friday prior to the Super Bowl.

    Reebok called on its newest spokesperson, Erin Andrews, and nine-time World Champion rodeo athlete Ty Murray to host a Cowboy Up! media event that featured Reebok athletes Peyton and Eli Manning, Chad Ochocinco, DeMarcus Ware, and Randy Couture operating a mechanical bull by swinging training ropes and running on treadmills. The players were encouraged to swing ropes and run on treadmills as quickly as possible to make the bull buck harder, thereby throwing Randy Couture to the mat. 

    The activation space created a terrific PR event for the brand and successfully engaged media members and important stakeholders throughout Super Bowl weekend.

    Seattle Bank Leverages Player Appearances to Offer Ultimate Fan Debit Cards

    Seattle Bank has teamed up with the Seattle Seahawks to offer fans a chance to receive the "Ultimate Fan Debit Card". The regional bank is leveraging player appearances through their partnership with the Seahawks organization to offer fans the chance to have their picture taken with their favorite player and printed directly on their debit card.

    Seattle Bank's custom debit cards featuring Seahawks player likenesses serve as a great way to drive account conversions, promote affiliation awareness, and keep their retail locations top of mind in the wallets and minds of their customers.

    The Jets and EA Sports Bring Madden '11 to Training Camp

    EA Sports recently made a splash at New York Jets Training Camp by creating a Madden lounge for players to enjoy during their down time between practices. As the presenting sponsor of Jets Training Camp, EA Sports outfitted the team's players lounge with Dream Seats, a Playstation 3, and invited several members of the team down to battle head-to-head in a game of Madden '11.

    The Madden Lounge served as a terrific means to showcase EA Sports' partnership, providing the Jets organization with authentic footage to show fans how the team's players collectively enjoy playing the new Madden '11 title. 

    Realizing the value of the coverage, the Jets sponsorship department pushed the quality video of the players interacting in the Madden Lounge through several of the team's social media and multimedia channels, including the team homepage (writeup, photos), Official Facebook Page (videos, discussion board comments), and Official Twitter page (play-by-play coverage).

    Hats off to EA Sports and the New York Jets on a well-executed campaign!

    Giants Fans Breathe Right and Love Their Team

    Are you looking to leverage new partners online?

    In 2009, Breathe Right Nasal Strips partnered with five (5) NFL teams (Patriots, Giants, Dolphins, 49ers, Bears) to introduce its new Breathe Right "Extra" product to sports fans across the nation. Touting a product that has been used by professional football players since 1994, the company activated its partnerships with "Breathe Right Game Days", where 400,000 product samples were distributed to fans via a multi-faceted professional football sampling and trainer outreach program.

    In 2010, Breathe Right is bringing its partnership with the New York Giants to life by featuring an interactive page on the team homepage where fans can upload a picture of their game face, where they are wearing a Breathe Right Extra nasal strip, each week. The page concept is very engaging for fans and does an effective job tying back to the sport! A very well executed piece! Check it out below:

    The Vikings Create Value for Their Partners at the Gates

    Are you looking for new ways to drive awareness for corporate partners? Are you looking for ways to help corporate partners "own" stadium gates and related entrances?

    In September, the Minnesota Vikings announced two (2) new partnerships with Twin Cities-based Caribou Coffee and the Minnesota Army National Guard. As part of their agreements, both partners received prominent gate signage and the opportunity to engage with Vikings fans at the pre-game Party on the Plaza.

    The Vikings organization did a tremendous job bringing the gates to life for both Caribou Coffee and the Minnesota Army National Guard. The Vikings found a unique way to link the brands into the team's messaging ("First Line of Defense" - Minnesota Army National Guard, "Fueled by XX" - Caribou Coffee).

    As part of the agreement, both partners received 2,000 square-foot gate signage (produced by Sign A Rama) as well as the right to activate on-site:

    • Minnesota Army National Guard (Gate H) - Fans have the opportunity to check out official National Guard armored vehicles and meet some soldiers from the state of Minnesota 
    • Caribou Coffee (Gate F) - Fans can enjoy Caribou Coffee inside the stadium and at the pre-game Party on the Plaza
