Billboard of the Week - Gatorade, Mia Hamm

Are you looking to create a messaging campaign that demonstrates the passion of female athletes? Are you looking for a creative way to promote the game of soccer?

In early February, Gatorade plastered a giant billboard of Mia Hamm on the side of a building at Fountain Place in Dallas, Texas. The billboard campaign (part of Gatorade's new "G" messaging) does a great job portraying the passion and emotion Mia Hamm exemplified as a professional athlete. The Thunder Play Mascot Pranks on Employees...

Are you looking to create original video board vignettes? Are you looking for new ways to integrate team employees and mascots in-game?

The Oklahoma City Thunder recently featured an excellent video board vignette during one of their home games that involved their mascot, Rumble, waking up the team's employees as they headed into work during the early morning hours. The clip does a great job providing fans a humorous, behind-the-scenes look at some of the mascot's antics outside outside of the arena and enables team employees to enjoy some humor of their own.

What's unique about this piece is that the team finds a way to incorporate its employees in the fan entertainment, something that is not too common in the sports landscape. The vignette serves as a nice way to reward/humor all of the individuals behind the scenes who are working long hours to maximize the team's ticket sales, sponsorship revenue, community relations efforts, fan entertainment, etc.

Partnership Activation - Update

Avid Partnership Activation Supporters,

I wanted to send out a note to quickly inform you that Partnership Activation is now officially up and running as PartnershipActivation.com and PartnershipActivation.net thanks to the help and services of Michael Streb.

Over the past few days we unfortunately faced some domain issues but were able to overcome those and get the site back up and running. I deeply apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that this has caused. If your organization is ever looking to hire some additional web expertise, please let me know and I would definitely love to pass along Michael's information.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in the site. I really appreciate everyone who helped me get the word out over the past few days about the URL change (Dan Beeman, Russell Scibetti, Jason Peck, Jason Golden, Nate Jones, Jon Kander, etc.).
